Graduation requirements
The responsibility for meeting the requirements for graduation rests primarily upon the student. Students should acquaint themselves with the various requirements in the bulletin and from the freshman year plan their college courses to meet those requirements.
Please check out the "Graduation Requirements for Bachelor's and Associate Degrees" section in the current Bulletin for more information.
Info for graduating seniors
Graduation day is rapidly approaching. With so much to do before then, don't forget to check here for information updates. For now, be sure to check the days and times for your final examinations and plan your preparation carefully.
Your class officers are helping plan your graduation and other activities for this year. The Sabbath School program for graduation weekend is the responsibility of the class pastor. If you have questions or suggestions, please speak your class officers.
Regalia - All graduates must wear academic regalia to march at graduation services. Anyone not planning to march for the commencement service should contact Academic Administration to request graduation in absentia. Please submitted your regalia order to the Union College Campus Store before the deadline stated in the calendar (March 15, 2018). If you haven't placed your order yet, check with the bookstore to see if there is any possibility at this point of obtaining what you need.
Graduation Announcements - Personalized announcements of your graduation may be ordered from CB Announcements. After February announcements may be ordered by phone at 1.800.433.0296, online at www.CBgrad.com using the keyword "Union," or by going to the Campus Store. The cost will vary depending on the selections made. Allow at least two weeks for delivery.
Marching Practice - To give you last minute instructions and increase your confidence for graduation weekend, marching practice will be held Thursday evening, May 2, at 4 p.m. at CVC. Please plan to be there! If you will be unable to attend, marching instructions will be emailed to you, but please stop by the Academic Administration office to confirm the pronunciation of your name.
