Camp on your way to Oshkosh (and back)

Lincoln is in the middle of everywhere

If you need a place to stop and camp on your way to or from Oshkosh for the International Pathfinder Camporee in August 2019, Union College maybe a great place to stop.

We're located in Lincoln, Nebraska, right in the middle of the United States, and we'll provide a spot for your club to camp for a night or weekend at no charge.

What we provide

  • You'll get a grassy open area to pitch your tents
  • Parking area for large vehicles
  • Access to potable water near the campsite
  • Access to restrooms (including showers) in our nearby fitness center

If you stay over Sabbath, you're welcome to worship with us at the College View Seventh-day Adventist Church—located within easy walking distance right on our campus.

Tent camping spots for Pathfinder clubs will be provided August 8-12 and August 18-19. Please click the registration link to reserve your spot.

Camping regulations

We happy to host your Pathfinder club as you travel to and from Oshkosh. Here are some regulations for camping at Union.

Restrooms—Portajohns will be available for use 24 hours per day during your stay. The restrooms in our fitness center (next to the campground) will be available at the following times:

  • Sunday-Thursday: 7:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.
  • Friday: 7:00 a.m. - TBD
  • Saturday: TBD

Water—a hose with potable water will be available 24 hours a day for camper use.

Fires—no open fires will be allowed in the campground. Cook stoves and barbecue grills are permitted.

Parking—Parking is available in two parking lots next to the campground. No vehicles are allowed on the grass camping area.

Quiet time—Quiet time at the campground will be from 10:00 p.m. - 5:00 a.m.
