Perfect late summer weather held out for at least one more weekend, helping to make the year’s ASB BBQ a success.
On Saturday, September 5, students staying on campus for the Labor Day weekend were treated to a free meal served by ASB. Hot Dogs, baked beans, corn salad, watermelon, and a variety of chips and cookies filled tables under the clock tower. With hunger satisfied and the line dwindling to those coming back for seconds or thirds, students gathered on the grass for V2. Matt and Larissa Trethewey led the song service and Kayla Frishman spoke about patience with God while the sun, gently setting across 48th Street, concluded another restful Sabbath day.
Thank you to everyone who came out for this event! We hope to see you all again next week at the World Cup Soccer Tournament!!!
